A used camper can cost anywhere between £10,000 and £100,000+ depending on the type and how used it is.

Typically, the upper market campers will be based on an already high-quality van, it’ll be fitted with high end features and materials, anything from uprated suspension to extra wheel carriers to floating beds and LED lighting. This style of van will most likely be built by an aftermarket conversion business which focuses on high-quality builds.

Vehicle Manufacturers such as Ford and Volkswagen obviously build Campervans too. They’re built for mass market; they do a great job and are designed very well but are typically priced and built to better suit mass market. Every year there is a convention hosted at the NEC in Birmingham called The Motorhome and Caravan Show. There you can visit all the manufacturers and converters and get a good understanding of what type of campervan you should be looking to buy.
